0730 CST:
Recovered!
He was pretty much waiting for me by the path. Called him down and fed Cisco two DOCs. Based on his weight, he retained approximately a hundred grams of that squirrel, taking into account everything.

Day 1
1810 CST:
It's dark and Cisco moved to another tree maybe fifty feet away.

1430 CST:
Cisco up in pine tree eating a squirrel. Will be days to get him back..... Last time less than 24 hours because he puked it up and flew to the fist at dawn. This is first pine tree squirrel, second squirrel eaten in tree, fourteenth squirrel of season, and 151st of career I think.

1055 CST:
Squirrel caught in pine tree. First time for that. I was trying to get Cisco away from this tree because I thought he would just waste his time. He was on the ground and panting after a couple of strikes. Then he goes to this tree, following the squirrel. I tried to move him away from the area, but he ignored me and kept moving up. Next thing I hear is a muffled collision, then quiet. It's not the first time I've been wrong trying to second guess Cisco.
