Hunting, not catching, redux

It was extremely humid, sometimes lightly rainy, cool and overcast today. Cisco and Arnold did well, but were bested by the squirrels. A lot of chases and close calls, in fact Cisco may have grabbed one in the crotch of a tree that got away. Every outing last week resulted in a catch, but not today.

Yesterday Johnny Peralta came out with me and Farrah. She missed the first half dozen , but we took a couple. I'm impressed that I can take Farrah out like a normal hawk. It's been a while, until last week with Jim Ince, that I've done anything other than hunt with her alone. She's a good hawk, and nice to share her prowess.
